Between Ystad och Simrishamn, centrally in the Österlen area, 2 km
away from the sea and beaches, that’s where you’ll find the youth
hostel Violen.

Our first hostel is located close to everything in the old sugar
factory in Köpingebro, a small village with a grocery store and
resturant.

Our second hostel is located in Svenstorp, just north of Köpingebro
by the Nybroån river, close to the nature area of Fyledalen valley.
It's situated a former senior’s home in our own corner of the town,
with no bothersome traffic.

Two kilometres away are the white sand beaches of Österlen and the
town of Ystad, and you’re also not far away from the old fishing
villages Kåseberga och Skillinge.

Road Description

Från Ystad åker du väg 9 mot Simrishamn. Ta infarten till
Nybrostrand och Köpingebro rakt norrut 2 km. Right by the train
station, cross the railroad tracks: 150 metres to the right is
Violen in Köpingebro, we have our own parking space.

To get to Svenstorp, continue straight to Köpingebro and turn left
at the sign to Stora Herrestad 5 km. Cross the railroad tracks, turn
right towards Stora Köpinge and continue through the village to the
next village straight ahead, this is Svenstorp. At the edge of the
village is Violen in Svenstorp, with our own parking in the yard.
