Description

The camping area comprises 25000 square meters and has a shore line
of 250 meters. It is situated in a slope down to the lake and is
built in 3 stages where there are 50 pitches of which 36 have
electric sockets.
The Mjölknabbens Camping is situated on the shore of lake Åsnen on
the island of Sirkön with it´s wonderful scenery. Around the
camping there are grazing land, meadows and mixed forest.
In the service building you will found toilets, showers, washing up
and cooking facilities, a washing machine and tumbler dryer.

It is 14 kilometers to the grocery store, bank and post office. It
is 35 kilometers to Växjö and 25 kilometers to Tingsryd.
Why don´t you rent a boat and go for a wonderful fishing trip to
one of all the bays? Here there is plenty of fish, among other
things pike, pike-parch and parch. If you don´t want to row we have
got out board motors. or rent a canoe to experience the wonderful
world of the small island of lake Åsnen.
There is a small beach in the area. It is shallow with sand and
very suitable for children. About 75 meters from the beach there is
a floating raft of 15 square meters anchored.
In the morning you are awakened by the merry song of small birds.
In the evening you can have a barbecue at one our fire- places and
hear the black- throated diver´s calls across the lake and enjoy
the peace and tranquility.

Road Description

From Växjö road 23 towards Malmö about 10 kilometers turn left
towards Vederslöv. In Vederslöv right towards Kalvsvik about 2
kilometers. Turn left towards Sirkön. Follow the road signs towards
Sirkön. On Sirkön turn left towards Urshult. After about 2
kilometers you will find Mjölknabbens Camping on the right.

Road 120 towards Urshult. In Urshult turn towards Sirkön. Drive 14
kilometers and it is the fourth camping site from where you turned
in Urshult. Mjölknabbens Camping is on the left along the road on
Sirkön.
