Welcome to Tjuvkil - a pearl on the west coast just 9 km from
Marstrand! Organic living in the heart of Bohuslän.

We are located 600 meters from the sea close to Spa, riding on
Icelandic horses, wonderful nature and our own smokehouse located in
our large shady garden, otter Smokehouse. Here we smoked salmon and
shrimp on the old traditional way!

Here is one of the best trout waters, you can smoke your freshly
caught fish in our smokehouse.


There is also a world-store, a photo exhibition and a travel company
with trips to include gorillas in Uganda and Rwanda, Tigers in
India, and much, much more.

We are open every day from the next we wake until we go to bed. Call
to be sure.
In our ecological housing do you live in a homely atmosphere in the
heart of Bohuslän. We have multi-bed rooms and double rooms. Shared
bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine. Access to the
outdoor grill and patio.

Our breakfast is organic and we use low-flow faucets, eco laundry
balls, waste separation, ekovänligt detergents and organic bed
linens to save the environment - something we at the Café Zanzibar B
& B feel is very important!

Rooms for rent per night:
350: - per person in double room or family room and breakfast but no
bed linen. Children under 12 years 175: --
450 SEK / person in single room including breakfast but no bed linen.
Bed linen and towels can be rented for 100: - per person

Road Description

Will you go by bus to the name of our station SALTSKÄRSVÄGEN and it
is located one minute from the house, just go straight ahead until
there is a fence, we are behind the fence. An off-white house and a
house Falun red. Just before the road forks. One way to
Tjuvkilshuvud and the other to Marstrand.

Note: The bus stop is called SALTSKÄRSVÄGEN, not our street. Buses
depart from the Nils Ericsson SITE. Central Station in Gothenburg
Ring "timing" for info. about bus times to the "Salt Cut Road". Tel.

Directions from Gothenburg - Tjuvkil approximately 25 minutes by car.
· Run by TINGSTADS TUNNEL in GOTHENBURG
· E6 towards Oslo
· Run against KUNGÄLV, MARSTRAND, YTTERBY against road 168
Exit right after you cross the bridge.
· Hold yourself to the left of the file against MARSTRAND, YTTERBY
· Then turn right towards Marstrand, YTTERBY. ROAD 168th
· Now you have 17 km to the house where we live.
· Just follow the road Marstrand.
· Go past the turnoff to Lökeberg conference center.
· Gullbringa, go past the golf course.
➲ You are now in Tjuvkil. Continue straight ahead.
· In the left curve, you will see a big fence at the road's left side.
